Monoplegia is the paralysis of one limb, quite frequently in the upper extremity. Treatment will vary depending on the cause of monoplegia. In some cases, monoplegia is temporary, while in other cases, partial recovery is possible.
Classically, aortic dissection presents as sudden, severe pain in the chest, back, or abdomen that is ripping or tearing in nature. However, a timely diagnosis can be elusive in the event of an atypical presentation. In this report, we presented a patient with atypical symptoms.
