Ganglia are the commonest benign swellings around the wrist. Surgical excision of ganglia can cause hypertrophic scar formation, functional dysfunction and tenderness. In this case report, the benefit effects of electroacupuncture therapy were reported on hypertrophic scar, pain and restriction of motion due to surgical excision of wrist ganglion cyst in a 27 years old patient.
