Abstract

Abstract

Bartter's syndrome is characterized by generalized hyperplasia of juxtaglomerular apparatus, hyperreninism leading to secondary hyperaldesteronism, hypokalemic alkalosis and normal blood pressure. Although nephrocalcinosis has been described sporadically in patients with Bartter's syndrome, this is still generally unrecognized. We reported a case of Bartter's syndrome with nephrocalcinosis and discussed clinical significance of nephrocalcinosis in this syndrome.
