Abstract

Abstract

Nondepolarizing muscle relaxants are one of the drug groups that can not be abandoned in anesthesia and can cause some clinical pathologies by releasing histamin. In this study the clinical pathologies were compared by measuring the plasma histamin and serum IgE levels in the patients used atracurium and vecuronium. 50 patients without gender separation were included in this study. It was demonstrated that atracurium had inreased the plasma histamin levels but vecuronium had not, both of the drugs had not changed the serum IgE levels. It was demonstrated that the development of the clinical changes had been releated by the increased plasma histamin levels.
