In thıs study, we aimed to review 170 cases with the postoperative diagnosis of an ovarian cancer a 12 year period (between 1987-1999) in the Erzurum region. The cases were investigated in terms of histologic type and the frequency distribution in a 10 year age groups. It was detected that benign cases were seen in younger ages and in contrast, malign cases were seen in elderly ages. Additionally, serious tumors were found the most commonly seen cancers both in benign (55,3%) and malignant (52%) cases.
